How to read this

The comparable price is the median asking price of similar cars listed for sale on PriceTalon — same make and model, a close model year, and similar mileage. It is a market comparison, not an appraisal of the specific vehicle in the lot. We can't see its condition, and a retired fleet car usually sells for less than a private-party equivalent with the same odometer reading. Treat it as the ceiling to bid under, not the price to pay.

Bidding happens on the government's own sites — we don't take bids, take a cut, or handle any part of the sale. Registration and payment terms are theirs.
